Help w/a Singer 15-91
#11
Good news, we got it working. Not sure what we did but whatever it;s working even when the bobbin winder is going!
I could still use some suggestions as to why it is bunching up my fabric. If I sew in the middle of a piece of fabric it is fine, but if it's a seam on the edge of the fabric, it seems like it gets caught under the pressure foot and bunches the fabric up. But, I actually think it is the space behind the needle hole that is catching the fabric. I did take the presser foot of and scrub it w/steel wool to make sure there were not burrs and it seems smooth. Any ideas?
One more thing, other than ordering from Sew Classic what source is there for bobbins to fit this machine? I bought some Dritz metal bobbins, but they don't fit my bobbin winder, so I thought I would try another brand that Hancock Fabrics sells, but I am not opposed to buying them from Sew Classic if that is the best option.
Thanks for all the tips and help,
Jp
