Default Help with White 221 Sewing Machine

Hi all,
My friend recently received a White 221 sewing machine but it doesn't have the manual. I know nothing about this machine but she would like to use it(she is a brand new quilter). If anyone has any information that could be of assistance we would appreciate it.

Some times I've found White manuals on the Singer website.

That was one of the questions that popped into my head--White machine, or White Singer FW. And I can't say one word about "pics please" because I spent an hour last night trying to post a pic to something that I have a question on. My SIL was over here last week and left me written instructions on how to post a pic to FB and I can't figure out how to change those directions over to this forum. Judy somebody in AZ posted something not too long ago that I printed out, but she said for a MAC, and mine is an emachines. I am getting too old for this much info, or my brain is overloaded one. I keep saying "that bit of information fell off last week" but I do get aggravated when I know I know something and can't recall it.

Keep overloading your brain so you keep it working as long as you can - you only fail when you don't try.

Hit the tree in a frame up in the tool bar (insert image). Upload from computer, choose file, find the picture, upload file(s), give it a second, then hit reply.

Hi, Sorry for the confusion. The machine is a White Company product the back label says Model 221. When we went to Singer the Singer 221 manual came up.

When on the Singer site, when it asks for model number try just putting in a W. A whole long list of manuals will show up. It may take you a while to find one that works for you.
Many of the Japanese made machines don't have real Model numbers - you just have to find a machine that looks like yours and chances are the manual will work - or ask a friend to help figure it out. Usually not too hard to do, with basic sewing machine knowledge.
