I hear you on that. My day got crazy, too. DGKs came over and made mudpies. DH was on the roof - he had it easy...

I have one similar to that I used for many years. It will go to one of my granddaughters.

Awesome machine. I purchased one a while back at a reasonable price of $35, I think with the table and all. Grandson did something to it and it locked up. Took it a machine repair that I knew nothing about and they told me it was unrepairable. Lately found out someone purchase a machine just like that from the same shop two months later. They are a work horse to me and sews beautifully.

I'm thinking yours is not the same as mine. It is awful close though. I love the machine but sewing in reverse gets kind of old.

Oh, I think it did!! here it is from the back side of the machine. I tried to angle down towards where the dials would be in the front.

Here is another angle - I can see down there but I don't see what makes it spring back

here is my front! =) Nowhere as much brown, huh?

ok, so it says this image isn't valid. I'll have to take another and try again! grrr. I did notice today, that my bar inside my dial is not moving freely . . . I'll have to look into that!
