This is an industrial machine used to make buttonholes.

That thing gives me the creeps just looking at it! Honestly, it looks like something Frankenstein would have whipped up in his laboratory/quit room!!

My LSMG had one of those in his lobby. I asked him how it worked and he pushed a button or controller and the machine make a fast noise and spit out a section of material with a perfect button hole. Took about 5 seconds to make the outline, cut the slot and advance the material for the next one.

If I were in the Charlotte area, I would really try to own that machine.
