Default Hope someone has an answer for me

When I was a child in the 1950's my Mother made all our clothing. She sewed on a gray colored machine, heavy duty, that was a Mercury I believe. Has anyone ever heard of one of those? I would love to have one. If you know something about this machine, I would love to hear about it. Thank you.......Jackie

The Mercuries I'm familiar with were 15 clones. From a very brief search it looks like the brand name is used on some commercial machines too. Not sure if they're related.
