Default How to remove Pfaff motor

Greetings!
I am new. I realized I have read many posts here on sewing machine repair and thought I may as well register! I am currently working on my Pfaff 1471, trying to get to the motor because I believe the carbon brushes need to be replaced. I am so close to having it out but can't quite get it. I have the top, bottom and front panels off and screws undone. I see a heavy grey cord on the left still holding it in but I have no idea what to do now. I can only pull the motor maybe an inch forward but that's it. Also, I'm not sure how to loosen the belt on the right, or if it will be necessary. Can anyone help??
Thanks much!

Never mind; I got it! There was a thin plastic case holding the whole motor in. I even found the carbon brushes. One step at a time.

Thanks! I have watched several of his videos. My current frustration is that I need to replace the motor belt but I can’t get the hand wheel off cuz the screw on the end is stripped.
