I finally had to give up my mother's machine just like yours. It was an old workhorse but the bobbin casing repairs were getting too expensive and I was told couldn't be repaired anymore. I gave it to the guy to use for parts!

Oh my I had this exact machine and cabinet and sold it in a yard sale a few yrs ago. I bought it used about 28 yrs ago and didn't quilt at that time. Only used it a few times and mostly used it as a side table so DH convinced me to sell it in a yardsale about 5 yrs ago. Of course after that I started quilting and he had to go buy me a new machine...hehe.
