Default I am a liar!

I am a liar says my cousin Fred! Fred and I go to pick up the last of the treadle machines that I bought, I told him that this is my last machine. He looked at me and said you are a liar and I don't believe it... so off we go and up stop at Jipp's ( hit or miss candy-stuff store ) did I hit big time with boxed food..... any way, there is a woman out front having yard sale and sure enough Fred, grabs my arm and points over there. Sure enough a black singer in a case, ( case is in bad shape ) inside is the cleanest machine... she wanted $30 for and it... so I asked her if she would take $20... NO but give me $25... so she came home with me..... never heard of it... singer 319w ...

I'm flabergausted - a 319!!! be still my beating heart!!

That would make me break all my promises of "no more machines" too.

I live in an area that has about zilch in finding neat machines at garage sales. I'm ready to retire and move south just so I can have more fun looking. Most of my machines are from at least 400 miles away.

No, I've not even seen one for sale, other than on Ebay. But if I did within 500 miles, it could be road trip time! that and a Trapezoid cabinet . . .

Not sure why I want one - it's those darn typewriter keys in the back. It does not fit into my collection, so I'd have to pretend it belonged to DH.

You didn't lie, it's not just "another" machine, it is a wonderful machine. I have one and it's so much fun to use...
