Default Kenmore 1948

I just got her from a thrift store for $15. Model # 117-812. I don't know how to do pictures. It has a little wear but the wheel turns freely and the needle moves up and down. I need a manual. I need to know how to oil her and thread her. I'm am going to have to rewire the elecrtrical. Any help someone can give will be greatly appreciated. She has been saved and wants to be loved again. Thank you, Sandy

I don't know anything about Kenmore's - but I do believe there is a Yahoo group for Kenmore sewing machines. Believe it is called "VintageKenmoreSew".

Good luck with your new machine!!

Sandy,

www.sewusa.com may have what you want. There are lots of threading diagrams on that website.
