Default Pic of 1948 Kenmore

I hope this works. If it doesn't, I found the delete button. I did it.

The design of this machine has always made me wonder, what drove them to that shape and color? Guess it was the times. Great save though. I hope you are able to find a manual. I see them quite often on my local CL so should be available somewhere.

Looks like the machine my Mom had, only her's was dark green and a 1946 model. Because she was sewing to support her family, she could put her name on a list to purchase whatever machine was available when it was her turn. She got the Kenmore. This was because of metals/materials due to WWII shortages.
