That cabinet is beautiful. Definitely check the drawers, sometimes they hold treasures. I purchased a treadle at auction for a friend for $5. All she wanted was the base. She said I could have everything else. One drawer had a pair of Gingher scissors in like-new condition. The cabinet was in horrible condition.

My Davis VF takes 15x1 needles. I, too, have heard some VFs take the longer needles.
