Default Janome New Home??

I purchased this machine today and I would like to find more information on it. Luckily I can find tons on the 99K I purchased today also. The motor casing show Janome, the placard is New Home, the model no is 351 and the serial number is 000430. Any information or direction anyone can offer will be deeply appreciated. Sincerely Candy Baldwin

Your machine is a Japanese made clone of a Singer model 15. Do a quick search here for Japanese 15 clones and you'll find at least a few very good threads on those machines. There were several manufacturers of them in Japan after WWII. If you need a manual a Singer model 15 manual will be close enough to work.

OH, that's a purty one. Sew-Classic and other places have free downloads for a generic manual that works for them too. Many many thousands of those 15 clones were imported during the late 40s and 50s. I have well over a 100 names in my photo collection now.
Once cleaned and oiled they are usually great sewing machines.

I like it because it keys nicely into the evolution of New Homes!
