yep, it's unanimous, we're all turning up our noses at it. Do they mark stuff down after awhile there?

I paid $300 to get my cabinet refinished at a Mennonite workshop. It's not as ornate as that one is, but it does have the top.
The machine and cabinet were given to me, so I didn't have that expense.

leonf, I'm no expert but I think those might be the Gingerbread decals?

I got a Redeye 66 in really good condition for $125 and the oak cabinet it came with was in excellent condition. Hopefully they'll reduce the price of that one to something more reasonable as I think $350 is way too expensive, especially with the cabinet needing restoration.

Lovely machine but pricey with damaged cabinet ...... I would have given her a little "pet" also and drooled over her abit!

Here is a link from ISMACS about the decals - close to Gingerbread but definitely Persian with the "snowflake" center
- have to scroll down

Beautiful machine but I think they're dreaming with that price.

Based on the controller sitting there and the color and shape, I'd guess that's a Singer 600 to 700. Most have plastic gears.
