    That's a bit of a sad story and unfortunately, your dad seems to have made the correct decision. Sears was indeed a great company and sold great products -- some of their best items were made for Sears (Kenmore, Craftsman). And their catalogs were an iconic part of Americana for many decades.

    I sold one of my FWs yesterday. Its bittersweet, but it will be used more by my friend.

    That's great! Are they all different models? Do you know whether the monogrammer will work with the 158-1786081? I know I need super high shank/high bar accessories, but I don't know how the monogrammer functions.
