Default Large collection

http://www.abc.net.au/local/photos/2...09/4213411.htm

Am I allowed to post this link to an article about a couple that collects vintage sewing machines? If not, admin can you please move as appropriate?

I wonder if these lovely people are part of our community already.

I read about them a couple of years ago and embarrassingly still haven't visited their museum which isn't that far from home (2 hour drive). Next weekend, maybe I'll take pictures if they allow it and definitely chat to them if they're there.

Thanks for the link. I followed another link in the article to their museum, and saw 2 pocket sewing machines pictured! I was so taken with them that I emailed a friend the link to the museum and a copy of the picture of the pocket sewing machines.

Thank you for posting this article. I find it very interesting. I have never heard of a portable SM like the pocket one
I especially liked the orange colored hand crank.

I emailed them and got a quick reply. They now have their collection at their house and have invited me to come over this Sunday to see it all. Should be a hoot
