Machine color/finish?
Sewing machine colors/finishes -
It seems like most of the "new" machines are all white with a smooth finish. (Plastic?)
Have/Do sewing machines gone through "phases" of colors?
For a while, all the machines were black, then Singer went through a tan phase, with an occasional "other color".
Do you think that white will go out of style?

I liked the era of the 15 clones and then dashboards when all sorts of colors started popping. I hate the looks of old plastic yellow/browning. ugh. I hope white plastic goes away soon.

I love the 'dashboards'....Some of my favorites are the pink Atlases.
I've saved pictures of my favorite vintage machines here:

I guess I need an all blue one, huh?
Yea I have a soft spot for turquoise. The one on the right is adapted to handcrank so we can zigzag by hand.
