Joe, they are out there but when you find one be sure to check the condition of the knobs - I found several machines that the knobs were just crumbling. Whatever plastic? they are made of does not age well

I was lucky to find someone selling a good set of knobs to replace my cracked and crumbling ones.

Will do on the knobs. I know what you're describing. I've had other items from the 30s, 40s and 50s that have disintegrated like you describe. Somewhere in my memory I know the type of plastic too, but I can't remember it right now.

This reminded me of something I read in a transcript of a Washington DC purchasing hearing on sewing machine bids.
A Davis dealer with the low bid is rejected because the handwheel turns in the opposite direction of W&W / Singer 9W-7. pg 224-232

The link only opened the first page but from what I read, the W&W 9 and Singer 9W-7 caused no little confusion.

I have 2 Kenmore 117-591's - one labeled as "Imperial Kenmore Rotary" and the other "Supreme Kenmore Rotary". (I haven't been able to determine the difference.) Both are in cabinets. I am unable to post pictures from my laptop for some reason.
