My sister has a Morse 1000 (zig-zag machine from the 60's), which she inherited many years ago. She has never used it, as she doesn't know how to thread it. (Her use of a machine is to repair tears and hem pants.) I googled for it, but was unable to find a manual for the 1000, although I found others.

Any ideas?

Sometimes manuals serve more than one model of machine. I found this place but it did not list the 1000 model.

Maybe the 711 is close to yours.
