I don't know if it will help or not, but when we were cleaning things from my aunt's house (2 packs a day) we found that 409 pretty much melts nicotine off things. It might be pretty harsh to the paint, but it might be worth a try somewhere underneath.

Thanks I will try a little and see if it dulls the paint, if it doesn't I will add it to my cleaning arsenal.

Great job and save on Fiona. My go-to machine is Rebeckah, my 301.

Beautiful job on Fiona. Good for you for being able to look past the grime on the other and see the great machine underneath it. It's been my experience that a lot of people either can't or won't see that potential.

Because the potential looks like hard work!!!! That's why they can't and/or won't see it.

She's lovely. I have a 403 that looks just like her! They are so strong-- you can roll hem the thickest blue jeans with nary a hiccup!
