    Miss Verna

I would like to introduce my new friend MISS VERNA. She came to live with us last sat. My husband and our friend found her in a little out of the way thrift store. She runs great and is in great shape.

Very nice! So glad Miss Verna is in your custody!!
One day, you'll only be a memory for some people. Do your best to be a good one.

I have a 1917 Western Electric. These machines were made by National S.M. Co for Western Electric to sell in their stores. They only made them 1917 and 1918. Then Graybar took the machines when Western Electric stopped selling them. Mine looks slightly different from yours, but not much.

To make lots of quilts, is to have lots of scraps, and I do, and I do.

And another Verna heard from (me!). So far three of us have commented on your new addition, so at least three Vernas on this board. That doesn't happen very often. I too would love to know how you chose her name. Enjoy her~ hope you make many wonderful projects together!!!

I named her verna because since i meet my husbands family they have always called me vern, so my husband called me that after i met and married him so since he found her i named her verna because vern just isnt good as a ladies name.
