No you are not missing a part. It is very difficult to slide the plate into place. The slide is very narrow. I usually will lift the machine up from my cabinet and watch so it catches into place firmly.

There is a leaf spring that slips in to the grooves in the underside of the access plate. Held in place my a single screw.

Recommended procedure for getting it into place is taking off the feed dog plate ( offset screwdriver Is handy here) and sliding it in from the right.

There is a spring and https://shop.sew-classic.com/Slide-P...-192-32569.htm shows how to install the plate. The spring is shown as "BB" in the illustration. The instruction manual also shows how to install the plate. There is a 'spring' on ebay https://www.ebay.com/i/401684610301

I have a Insprira/husgvarnia mega quilter and I am missing the parts that go on the four rollers to attach them to the frame. Would anyone know where these can be purchased. It appears no one is selling Inspira anymore.

Deer lake. I see this is your first post. welcome aboard. May I suggest you start your own thread with a title like "Inspira/Husqvarns part needed." and your machine is a bit new for most of us here.

I agree with this. It will only seat properly by sliding it on from the right. I spent hours trying from the left before the eureka moment.
