Default Model 15 Adjuster's Manual?

Does anyone know where I can find a free Adjuster's Manual or timing manual for an older Singer model 15? I'm working on an older one without reverse. I had some trouble getting things freed up and moving again after a long time of non-use and moved the needlebar out of position while I was tampering with it.
Thanks,
Rodney

I've got it figured out. Just made a few test stitches with it and it looks like it's fine.

That's great you figured it out. I looked around the files of the groups I belong to and all I could find is the service manual for a 15-91.

The adjusters manual I found is for 15-91, and does have the reverse. It is at parts.singerco.com/IPinstManuals/15-91.pdf twenty pages to print.

Thank you Elnan. I saved the file to my computer. I think it will help.
I've got the machine up and running. It shows it's age but it makes a really pretty stitch.
It was stored in an open air shed and mice were using the machine as a perch. I spent some time scrubbing petrified mouse poop and rust off the machine head. There's a few spots where the finish peeled off but overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I still have some work to do on the treadle irons and have to put the cabinet back together. I'll be doing that tomorrow then Saturday the machine is going back to the granddaughter of the lady who brought it over from Germany. I hope she likes it too.

Rodney, I'm not surprised that it wasn't the timing. I've never even heard of a 15 with a timing problem. They're as tough as nails! Great you got it going.

I'm sure you already know this, but if a Singer 15 doesn't have reverse, they thread left to right, like a 66.

We were looking on the Internet for a manual for the 15-91 and came across the adjuster manual. I will try and find it again and I will pm you the site....if I find it.

I also have a few manuals - I don't think they're all the same. I'm stepping out for some computer work right now but will look when I get back. If I recall, the 15 AM says that the timing is factory set and cannot be changed. I disagree based on the underbits (there are set screws in the usual spot) but I've not had to time one so far...

I had the same service manual as everyone else. Glad you won. I'm still fighting with a White 77 that won't pick up thread. Work on it until my back gives out and grumble a lot.
