Default montgomery wards S 40 , any info ???

I posted pictures here before of this machine i have and dont know where it came from, or anything aboiut it. Does anyone have any info on it or where I can find some. It appears to be very old aas it has the Tension bar on top. Any help will be greatly appreciated. [ATTACH=CONFIG]326136[/ATTACH]

Snazzy! I'm developing a fondness for the old crinkle Montgomery Wards machines. That's definitely an interesting needle plate, too.

I believe that it’s a National VS (Vibrating Shuttle) Model A, and was made for MW by the National Sewing Machine Company. I have one that was badged as a “GraybaR”, and one that was badged as an “International”.
