Default Morse Fotomatic IV questions

Hello,
I was given a Morse machine.....wonderful machine, but, I am having trouble getting her to zig-zag. Would anyone have a manual, or be able to help?

Thank you
Gretchen

Are you moving the stitch width lever to the highest number? Have you cleaned and fully lubricated it?

It has been cleaned, & lubricated. Stitch width to 25? Do you know where the lever near the bobbin winder needs to be?
My options are M _ L C O

Thank you
Gretchen

The big white button that says Reverse makes it go in reverse. No, the stitch width should only go up to 4 or 5. It's the lever under the reverse button. You push it over with your thumb and then slide the silver holder that's on the left of it so it won't move back and it locks in whatever width you choose. The MLCO is for the automatic buttonhole.

What is the numbered dial for behind the reverse button? I thought that would be stitch width?

No problem. Make sure you have the zig zag selected in your stitch window. You select each stitch with the lever and you may have something other than a plain zig zag selected.
