    My Gift

This was given to me by my Son and Hid Wife. It was found in an old storage shed. I have it cleaned up pretty good. Works ok and with a little adjustments will be fine. Don't have all the info on it yet. I love these old Machines. Just wanted to share my Gift.

this one is not a treadle, but was told it may have been at one time. It is electric now. Sews but I think motor is bad. Might try to find new motor. It smells when you sew on it. My Husband said it was because it is so old, lol.

It might be dust in the motor. Run it like crazy. Stop. Run it like crazy. Stop. continue until it quits smelling. The old motor can be cleaned up - Bennett made a tutorial. Bennett also did a remake on a case like that - painted it black and put a piece of zebra looking stuff on the bottom.
NEVER let a sewing machine know you are in a hurry.
