Talking My name is Lara and I am a Craigslist JunkyMonster

http://charlotte.craigslist.org/hsh/3199321548.html This is a Morse portable, made in Japan. It looks pretty, but plain.

<http://charlotte.craigslist.org/atq/3242694490.html> a 201. Isn't this the one that quilts nicely? It looks like it has been taken care of.

<http://charlotte.craigslist.org/atq/3199370997.html> this one doesn't say the model, but it is shaped like the 201. It has the hemstitcher attachment in the box!

<http://charlotte.craigslist.org/atq/3245199122.html> This one also looks similar. It has lots of accessories also.

<http://charlotte.craigslist.org/hsh/3259180205.html> colored singer. Old, but that is all I know about it, and apparently all the owner knows about it too! Waxhaw is very close to me, though!

Maybe I will learn a little about these old machines, and quit flooding you guys with links! Or, I'll just finally see them all!

I think the handwheel on this one is larger. Maybe a 66?

I think with the 'notched' faceplate (as seen from above) it's a 66.

Lara,

The Morse and the 5th machine a 185J you listed are reasonably priced. The rest are high.

The blue Universal is about $25.00 higher than my max. It needs a lot of cleaning and and possibly other work before I'd use it.

http://charlotte.craigslist.org/hsh/3250153348.html> Ok - he lists this as a 1931 Kenmore. But it looks just like the machine I have for piecing. Mine is (I thought) a 70s era. Who's on crack? ;0) I do know that it is *ridiculously* heavy!!

and, continuing the junkie trend - here is a New Wheeler. Is this considered a clone? <http://charlotte.craigslist.org/atq/3215316585.html> He is asking fifty for the machine and the cabinet, and he freely admits the machine is not functional.

This one is a Good Housekeeper 50s. http://charlotte.craigslist.org/art/3221709898.html

and this is a 57 Pfaff. WOW, does it look like a workhorse! Original paperwork! http://charlotte.craigslist.org/hsh/3248957192.html

This one looks like Pfaff to me, but it is a Union Special <http://charlotte.craigslist.org/for/3124525481.html>

Is a Ruby rare? <http://charlotte.craigslist.org/atq/3141318791.html>

I am learning about telling them apart from you guys. faceplates, and handwheels. It is like cars, or horses. So, I *think* this one is a 201? It has a smaller handwheel than the 66, right? It is pretty, huh? ;0) http://charlotte.craigslist.org/for/3217731413.html

but what in the world is this one? <http://charlotte.craigslist.org/for/3188106127.html>

It is the picture of that Rocketeer that did it! It was amazingly gorgeous, and now I want one!! lol

and yes, now I have been through all four pages of craigslist, and no more annoying questions!! =))

You guys just know so much, it is hard to resist! =))
