That nearly made me cry. I just learned today that I am getting a White treadle machine that used to be my grandmother's. I sure hope it is a beautiful as yours. I do know that it works and is in excellent condition. I can't wait to go pick it up. I'll bet you have yours threaded and sewing very soon. HOORAY for you.

You are going to LOVE sewing on this beauty! There is a sense of rhythm and peace that envelopes you when you sew on a treadle. I simply love to do the quilting on mine. It's easier to control than my electric. The belt, ebay!!!
