Default An old picture from about 1930

I hope it is alright that I post this picture here??
I'm just sorting and scanning old family pictures and among them I found this photo of a tayloring: it must be taken about 1930!! I tried to find out which sewing machines they used, but I can't....

What a great old picture! Do you know who they are? It's terrible to find old family pictures and not know who any of them are.

Great photo and so very clear too! I'll bet someone on this board who collects and is knowledgeable about old machines will know what those are just by looking at them and let you know.

the machine on our right looks like a Phoenix (I have a Model F, but this looks like a Model H I think) They look like Wheeler Wilson at the head, and Singer at the butt....

And the one on the right looks like a Singer VS2, (fiddle base VS).

Did anyone else notice that the machines are facing different directions? Maybe the lady on the left sat on te back of her machine for the picture.

I'm thinking the picture is more like from 1915-1918 because of the clothing. Maybe that would help determining the individual machines.
