Default My "New" Machines

Hi All, I just wanted to share my "new" machines. These were my MIL's. She had a Pfaff 362 and a Singer Stylist 457. I have not thoroughly researched the ages of these machines, but my hubby does remember his mother sewing on the Singer in the early 70's. Both machines had not been used in a real long time and were pretty sluggish when just moving the hand wheel. I oiled them both up this afternoon and they are now very happy and humming along, though I think I missed a spot on the Singer. I put that one aside for now since I really want to play with the Pffaf. This machine is the Swiss Army knife of sewing machines.

Oh, two nice machines! That Pfaff is a work horse. Andy Tube has some good videos on the Singer Stylist 457.

I also have a Pfaff 362 that my parents gave me for my high school graduation in 1970. It is a heavy duty machine I used to sew many, many clothes, drapes, and even a cover for our 17 foot ski boat. Fifty-four years after receiving it, it still sews like a champ.
