I have an old treadle machine that was in a storage building here on the land I bought last year. I rescued it from the elements (it was sitting next to an open window). The case is fairly damaged, but the machine, while rusty in some places, seems to be just waiting for me to restore it. It's a Singer. Anyone know where I can find information on the restoration of this lovely old dear?

Congratulations, what a beautiful machine. I love it when someone can make even Billy drool.

Fantastic. My first machine was a half head Singer. I wish I had not traded it in and just kept it.

By matching the stitch length control dial and bobbin winder thread spool, this is likely a 15-97.

I got a 15K80, with the famous Royal Navy decal, and mechanically similar to yours.

Everything is superb with this machine, except the lack of reverse stitch make me prefer my other rare Singer 44-13 crone /adaptation (Typical GB1-1).
