I prefer the Kenmore myself. I have a similar one with more features (zigzag, buttonhole knob) but I can definitely see the family resemblance. If it's anything like mine, that will be a really solid workhorse of a machine. Built like a tank.

Kind of makes you think maybe you died and went to heaven, doesn't it.

I'm impressed at the FW table find. In 20 years of keeping an eye out , I've only seen one at a big antique mall and I seem to recall it was priced at (would you believe it!) $500. The Pfaff looks fantastic too.

The box of "knitting accessories" are for a Studio knitting machine - probably 1960's vintage. The clamps hold the machine bed to a table. The pronged tools move stitches off the needles and are used to make patterns such as lace work or cables. The comb like tool moves several needles at a time to aid in casting on stitches.

Great find, and that cabinet is to die for. So glad they have a good home now.

Congratulations on acquiring a Pfaff that you like. I am not a Pfaff person (Elna here); I had one a year or so ago, and was supposedly set up to sew. Didn't.....and I am not a fly-by-night sewing person, I am middlin' to good, and can work on sewing machines without destroying them. I finally gave up on it and put it on CL and sold it for what I gave for it--glad to see it go down my driveway and out of my life.

Great finds! The bargain prices don't hurt either. I love the desk your 130 came in. Looks like it has tons of storage-something that always seems to be in short supply here.

I thought I already posted this, but must not have hit enter. Thank you for the knitting info, I couldn't figure out how that could have worked with a sewing machine.

I am anxious to start work on these, but have some other things I have to do first....

Beautiful machines, the one that says knitting are for some kind of knitting machine, it could be for a pfaff or something else.

If you have a local on-line sales group you might post the knitting parts. Perhaps someone else bought the knitting machine and is now frustrated they don't have all the parts.
