Yes. I picked up a bunch of motors some time back and checked, cleaned, rewired as needed, and actually machine tested each one of them. I have several extra motors just in case I need one. They come in handy.

It looks absolutely gorgeous! You did a wonderful job. I think the lotus decals are beautiful and I hadn't noticed how nice the faceplate was until I looked at your nice shiny one!

Linda, I just took a quick look at your web page. Wow! I'm not done looking yet but incredible work.

Blackberry, yes it did. The insides of my old motor has something wrong. The armature shaft is binding a bit. So I used the insides of your motor, rewired it, and then put the case from my motor on it and now have a great running spare motor. Thanks a bunch for swap.

At first I said "Ick" and then I said "Beautiful"! Cannot believe how dirty it was although I know some of you have posted ones that are similar or even worse. It's a shame that they end up like this .... but thanks to a bunch of you, they are brought back to a lovely life of beauty and work.

Blackberry, if you haven't been turned on by a hand-crank yet, you might give it a try with that machine. Skip set me onto one back in the summer and I just love it. Mine isn't nearly as pretty as yours, I haven't put the time I should into the cleaning-up part that I should have, but the machine sews and that is really all I can hope for with my limited abilities. I'd rather be sewing or quilting.....
