A July, 1927 Singer 128 La Vencedora, electric, in a bentwood case. $4,999. 110 watchers. No, really.

Both original screw drivers are included. That might explain the asking price.

screwdrives from this era aren't that hard to find. very hard to find the ring type that was put in the very early puzzle boxes.

Seems whenever a machine gets posted at a high asking price, lots and lots of people "watch" out of curiosity.

I am! I've noticed that lots of people do that, too.

My husband shops eBay constantly for car stuff and vintage advertising items. He says that it seems like there is always one listing for something that is outrageously priced. Maybe they're hoping to snag someone who just doesn't know? I don't really know, but he says it happens in all categories
