If you don't mind, a quick question. How do I find this size of needle? Amazon is a bit persnickety sometimes with the odd ball needle size searches
I have a original "KAY an EE package of No. 12 x 1 E Short Size 14 needles. This package came with a SM cabinet drawer and would not have fit that machine.
Thanking you in advance for your time!

with a product portfolio of around 3,000 sewing and shoe machine needles, Groz-Beckert offers the right product for every application. This is copied from the Groz-Beckert website. They have a ton of different needles and so much info on their website. You have to accept some cookies to view the website as they say it is needed for the website to work. The company is in Germany and a lot of the long arm machines use their needles.
actually...I don't even know if they offer needles for the home machine or if they just do industrial needles. oops...just looked they do. and here is superior threads link to decoding needles

I'm confused. Are you looking for more 12x1 needles? Or needles for a different machine? No one makes 12x1 needles any more. There have been some needles that would probably substitute for them, such as https://www.ebay.com/itm/224626557907 There was someone that wrote about comparing needles that would work for a Singer #12 machine.https://sewingtales.wordpress.com/20...-my-singer-12/ (search for "Needle History" on that page).
Also mentioned on that page is a link for ISMACS page that would be included in one of the following links.
    https://ismacs.net/needle_and_shank/...ce-charts.html
    https://ismacs.net/needle_and_shank/home.html
As seen on the ISMACS links there were a variety of different needles for these old machines.
