A new lady in my house!
I'm very excited to have my very own featherweight. I've been patiently waiting for a good buy (a steal) but it hasn't happened. Last Thursday I was at my sewing machine repair shop asking about having my Janome 6600 cleaned, etc. I noticed a kind of a greenish case sitting in the window and asked what it was and behold, look at what I saw. Short story - it's mine now. It's in mint condition, purrs like a kitten and I'm happy happy.
My first successful post of a picture. It is a machine I can carry easily to retreats, etc. and a gem for my two Granddaughters to sew on and also to be passed on to them.

Down here you can't get a decent, not necessarily in mint condition, for less than $450. can you give us a range of what you paid for it for comparison? Please!

You found a great one! All of these posts about Featherweights is motivating me to get mine out and start sewing! I'm thinking of starting something with the FW for my sewing groups and leaving my other machine for home projects.
