Default Putting White Rotary Model 43 in treadle?

In the summer of 2017 I purchased a White Rotary Model 43 at our local Goodwill and have cleaned it up and refinished the cabinet it came in. I enjoy using the machine but am wondering if it is possible to put this machine in a treadle cabinet. Not that I have one presently but would love to have a treadle machine if I can locate a treadle and this machine is adaptable to one.

If the motor, light and wiring is fine I wouldn't do much to it. The hand wheel on these are made to run on a rubber friction wheel, there is no groove or place for the leather belt. Not all of the old models easily convert to a spoked hand wheel. Model 43 has the minimalist look, and the hand wheel is different as well as the stop motion screw. If you have one of the fancy mahogany, teak or oak cabinets you are set up with luxury already.

On the other hand, a treadle comes more often with a machine than with out, and doesn't always cost more either. The older Rotary models had spoked hand wheel and came in treadles.

Plenty of White rotaries treadles in cabinets already. I know of one for sale for $50.00 today. Easier that adapting yours.

Thank you for your replies. I guess I will just be happy with the machine as it is since it took a lot of hard elbow grease to refinish the cabinet it is in. The cabinet looks so much better than it did when I got the machine.
