Welcome aboard Rick. I'm sure you will get lots of questions about the FW. Lots of love for them on this board. We'd love to see pictures of your handiwork. Do you paint also, or just restore the works?

Welcome from SW Ohio! Good to have a FW expert on here. I have a 1936 and a 1951 FW and use them almost every day! Great little machines.

Welcome to the board Rick. Hope you find as much inspiration as I do from this site. Glad you came out of the closet

Welcome Rick! I def see your interest in the FW and the Singer 400 series. I was so enamored of the 401, I had to collect the whole 400-500 series. (Threw in a few 301's for good luck too)

So, you love re-habbing the 221. Do you re-paint? I am watching carefully all those who re-paint because it's a trick i would love to learn.

I love the pearl white one!

Welcome as well from (finally sunny!) Alberta, Canada.
I will also warn that mods like to get after you for posting a helpful, relevant link to your own website at times, even if you're not selling anything and follow all of their rules about posting links to your own website (ie, a link back the the QB, no funnel pages or sign ups, etc.) Tread softly there and you won't get caught on their radar like I am. Some people get away with it, I get smacked most times.

Thanks for the tip on the pics. I already knew about their policies on promoting & selling, but these pics already had the watermarks on them. If the mod's want to delete the pics, feel free to do so.
