Bathsheba is a nice name - though I didn't do in her current owner to get her - though I did fall in love with her when I have plenty of machines at home that should have kept me happy LOL!!

I was thinking maybe Abishag, and then when I die my kids can fight over who gets her LOL!!

Beautiful machine and cabinet. Good for you and can't wait to see "after" pictures.
she is a lucky girl.

This one I'm going to be working on myself. My OSMG is not going to be available until December now .

DH accepted a job in NE Nebraska, and will only be home on Sundays for a few months. Though at least he told them he needs three weeks off in October for our vacation plans - so I'll still be able to pick up my five other machines that are waiting for me.

I guess I must have lined up too many machines to help keep him busy - and he found something else to do for a while LOL!!

I started cleaning on her, and she is one dirty machine! The machine belonged to the seller's mother, and I though they had recently been cleaning out the estate. But it turns out her mother passed a long time ago, and she's had this machine (sans attachments and shuttle) for many years. Her husband passed away last year and she wants to move into a much smaller home, so she is starting to downsize.

awesome machine! looks like a early White descendant/clone.

I bet she will clean up to look almost as spectacular as that cabinet.

Yup, she is a White in disguise. I picked up a hollow bobbin at a antique shop (in with a bunch of other items) and it fits perfectly on the bobbin winder - and there is no way a solid core one would work. It will be a bit before the shuttle shows up, and then I'll get to see if she'll make a stitch or two.

The seller is very happy I'm getting this machine, as I intend to use it. So I'll be needing to find a shuttle, will have to find the first post and be contacting some people.

Here are the pictures from the listing, I'll take more when I get home. Place is 1.5 hours away and we'll be heading out the door soon.

BTW - DH picked up a 401 to use for parts yesterday - can't have him getting another machine without me getting one too!

Oh man I just love the cabinet the machine is not bad looking either, but the cabinet interest me more.

Weenween - I'm a sucker for a pretty cabinet too! I've got a lot of extra machines because I wanted the cabinet they came in - and then I put a different machine in it! I'm still looking for the Singer trapizoid cabinet -that is the only cabinet I want that I don't have yet. I have the stool for it already LOL!!
