Congratulations with the successful resolution to your tension issues. I too am having a love affair with these wonderful older machines. With so much information available here at QB as well as other places on the web I am having the best time restoring my two recent Singers. In December I purchased a 1915 Singer 15-30 Treadle and this week I bought a 1953 Black Singer 301 Shortbed. I have both machines shined up and oiled up. I am looking forward to warmer weather so I can restore each of their cabinets. A great big thank you to all the people who contribute their time and knowlege so that newbies like myself can enjoy these wonderful old machines!!!!!
