Sorry, I didn't see the post until I responded to PM. To me it looks more like some of the other long shuttle machines, but most of the instructions that look like yours are for electric machines and the winder is in a different position. The Franklin manual at ISMACS shows both an electric machine and a treadle. However, the scan for the treadle isn't very good and the electric instructions show how to hook up the belt to the bobbin winder from the handwheel end rather then the actual threading of the bobbin winder.
From the stitches, it looks like you did a good job of winding and threading the shuttle
