We can do attachments, I think it's something we would all like to know more about. Good idea.
Do we want to invite kids for another make & take? Also, if we do, do we want to give a little advance notice at the library so parents will know ahead of time?

Since it turned into such a great happening last time I'd say go for it. Those of us who have a hand crank machine should bring one that they'd be willing to help a child use. I might have a line on one, I'm checking on it this week.

Welcome Toggpine!
No date set yet. I have to contact the library and work out a time and date with them. It's usually at least a month out before they have openings on Saturdays.

Our library meeting rooms are booked out at least that long up here too!
I won't have a machine to bring, as I'm in the process of cleaning and refinishing my first treadle.
If there is a project you want help with, let me know what I can do. I have access to cotton fabric that we can use for make & take items if they aren't overly concerned with trendy colors/patterns. (I inherited part of a quilter's stash after she passed on.)
Thanks for putting this together!

Larry and I can come if he is not teaching that Saturday, which is a preferred day for adult classes. We have 2 Singer 28 hand-cranks available for public use (and 3 for looking at, gentle use, and comparing).
Rodney, last time you had meant to convert an electrical machine to handcrank - did you ever do that? If not, that would be a nice project. I have converted 2 since.... but I wonder about 99s or Spartans that do not have spoked wheels...
How about people bring things that they made on their vintage machines - for show or to sell?
