Default Pfaff 1469 help please

New to your wonderful forum and can't get any work done for reading, reading, reading........ Such a wealth of information, I wonder if you can help with my problem: I've recently acquired a Pfaff 1469 (old but in great shape). It runs beautifully, but I didn't get a program booklet with it. I did receive an instruction manual, but it refers to a "jobs booklet" for how to make the 100 various decorative stitches shown under the lid of the machine. Anyone know where I can get one of these booklets? I've tried the online parts and manuals outlets; they have everything but what I need. Thanks for any help or advice you can provide.

Your best bet is likely the Old Pfaff Pforum at yahoo https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/oldpfaffpforum/info

or the Pfaff Fixit Group:
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Pfaff_fixit/info

They usually have archives for such files/documents.

Hope this helps :-)

Have you tried http://s2.vsmgroup.com/VSM/Pfaff/pfaffmanual.nsf

Keep clicking on Creative 1469 on each page and it will eventually take you to a manual that might help.

Those two listed ^^^^ would be my tries. This model Pfaff isn't old enough to be a solid metal monster and have the type of workings I would understand. The newer machines with electronics are more difficult to work out.

Thanks for your suggestions. I'm especially intrigued by the old Pfaff forum, so I'll keep trying.

Just be aware that they don't process the posts every day. Sometimes it can take a few days to see your post go through and to hear back from them.

I already checked old pfaff forum files this morning and did not see anything there. Did not get a chance to post here earlier. I have a 1469 too & would be interested. I am going to write off list to someone.

I m not familiar with a job booklet. Maybe there was an entire handbook, like on the 1471 model.

The instruction book does not say much. It says look in the machine cover. The cover gives you the numbers associated with each pattern. What additional info are you looking for?

If you access the manual for the 1473, there are pages listing the stitches. Unfortunately the numbers don't always match.

I've tried, sorry I can't help, but I would be interested too!
