Hehe, thanks everyone! And Nanamoms, don't tempt him! I'm already drooling over the potential sewing room in this house my boyfriend and I are looking to rent, I'm pretty sure it'd be filled in no time with 'admirers'!

You did a great job and didn't cost you an arm and a leg. For the scratches, spray sand spray sand and spray. That shoudl take care of that. I like wet sanding paper for a super smooth finish. You will only need to do the area scratched, so it won't be all that bad. Try making a bag out of upholstery material for the pedal, to prevent a repeat. You are to be commended. We had been following your progress and you really deserve congradulations for a job well done.

You did a great job. I have a question. Does this Singer use Cams? While cleaning out my sewing room I found a box of attachments which also have Cams in it. It says Singer but doesn't say what machine it belongs to but I have never used a machine that used cams. Are these attachments really for a Singer?

Flat cams go on 206, 306 and a few other's, cams that look like a tophat go on later machines.
I have a 306 and the first 10 of the 30 or so cams made for it.
AshleyR has a recent thread on a 206 (that I should go and buy from her while I am in the neighborhood) with some nice pictures, and I have pictures of my 306 in my albums, you can see them from my profile page.
