Default Pretty in Pink

Here is some eye candy for you. I know someone on another board that said she was looking for a Pink machine, and this one turned up on Craigslist for $30 when I was heading on a road trip. So I picked it up in MN and shipped it to her in WV.

This machine sure was sweet - very smooth running.

in 7 months of looking, this is the only Pink machine taht I've seen. I figure it was meant for me to get it and ship it, as I saw it just days before she mentioned she was looking for one.

I'm pretty sure this was another "rescued by the garbage man" machine. It was a house full of younger guys with a load of assorted "stuff" in the garage, and two crotch rocket motorcycles. I had to call and wake the guy up for the second time when I got there to pick up the machine. It came in a decent cabinet, but that I did not ship. My daughter wants me to haul it to GA for her this fall, she think sewing cabinets are the neatest little tables. She's currenly using my 99 that is down there. I told her it was fine as long as she didn't put anything wet on it. Maybe if I'm sneaky about it, I can get her hooked on vintage machines before she realizes it.

The only thing wrong with the machine was a broken foot pedal!

Pink is harder to find. This is the closest I've gotten. This is Lucille named for BB Kings guitar - he named all his guitars Lucille. He saved the first one from a fire- ran back in to get her. The fire was started by two men fighting over a woman. BB asked what the woman's name was and it was Lucille..a legend was born, lol.o I was going to see him and Peter Frampton the week I got her.

She a coral pinky color.
