I just won this on the auction site.

There are so many layers of interesting here..
  1. 1876
  2. Western Union Telegram
  3. To Singer Mfg Co.
  4. Requesting wagons to haul stuff
  5. Mentions all three Singer Factories at the time

Frame under lock and key! Love the writing! Almost 229 years of age! Stunnning!!

Neat telegram and I agree about the writing. You'll never see that now adays.

Tessagin,
229 years ????????? Ummm my old fashioned math says that 1876 from 2015 = 138. Still a great historical piece.

looks like someone is sending instruments to the three plants? Anyway, interesting mix of technologies. I'm assuming the Singer plants were among the most modern in the world at the time, the message was sent by means of electricity and they were still receiving at least some goods by means of wagon, the other practical choice of the time being rail.
A lot of information hiding in that one scrap of paper.
