1923 Singer 28 LaVencedora w/Bentwood case

Went to an estate sale yesterday. Here are a few pics of what I bought. 1923 Singer 28 LaVencedora Sewing Machine w/Bentwood case (it runs) and a bonus Oak puzzle box w/attachments for the sewing machine, pink depression glass Inverted Thistle pitcher, pink depression glass candy dish, 5 Longaberger baskets, cute ceramic pumpkin, and thread rack.
Plugged it in and it sounded clunky. Oiled it up w/Tri-Flow, now running smooth as silk. Cleaned the case and puzzle box. Planning on working on the machine tomorrow.
Here are the pics. First pic is everything that I bought.

Great haul! Any one of your finds would make for a good day. IIRC the puzzle box is a lot older than the machine. What are the baskets? I haven't heard of those before.

They have consultants and you host a party. There was a comment on FB about them costing $90 per basket. I personally don't know, but I know that they are collectible. I bought 5 for $44. The machine and puzzle box were $90.

Great finds and good prices. The baskets are very collectible and collected by a lot of people and always seem to command a high price. Good day for you. I went looking today at two machines and came home with none. I still can't figure out, I think I was ahead on those by not buying them, lol.

What great finds. I hope you didn't pay much for the depression glass. I've got several pieces that I'm hanging on to for now because the market is in the dumps for glass ware.

the glass is pretty to look at but not to use due to lead content....from what I have heard........definitely do not use in microwave, guess that is true of any older glass.

The machine is really great....fun just seeing the pictures of it and the puzzle box....what a wonderful day.
Will there be more pictures...

Lovely machine, those decals are fantastic.

I have that machine too! Aren't the decals gorgeous? Love all that orange.
I converted mine to a hand crank, the electrifying was after-market I think, looked cobbled together and unsafe on mine.

Hang on to that motor if you can. It’s got an unusual belt-tensioner on it....
