Recently, same thing happened to my sister in Ky. She mailed a package to her daughter in Texas, after 2 weeks ,the daughter still had not got the package. My sister called the P.O. and gave them the tracking number. It got tracked down to Memphis in the dead letter file , the bottom was cut out of the box ,the top with address ,etc was still intact, and the box was empty. They say it could have been one of the machines that cut the bottom. She's just not buying that story. They can't do anything about it ,because she didn't take pictures of what she mailed her.so what the heck is going on in the postal service now?

Seriously? What proof would a photo be? Someone could take a photo of anything and then send something completely different. I call malarkey on this one!

Thank you to all of you commenting on this post...I've learned a lot. I haven't mailed that many items, but will be in the future, as we have a grandson in the Air Force and will be able to send care packages once he is done with basic training. And we have a daughter living in the Pacific Northwest who will be getting packages from time to time. Thank you again!

I had no idea what this foot was, so I Google it.
After seeing it, I'm very upset for you.
So sorry, I hope that another will come your way.
