I don't think I have ever seen a Brother with built in cams for stitches? Can you post some pictures of your Brother Machine with the built in cams.

Poor choice of words. It has internal camstacks for special stitches.

You have a very pretty machine, love the color and the retro look, almost looks like a mixing machine, just missing the bowl...LOL. I have not seen one like this.

Thanks, this one is my pride and joy. It's the first Pacesetter, circa 1956.

That is an awesome looking machine! I would love to find one of those for my daughter.

This is the one I was telling you about with 30 built in stitches. Finding one of these cheap is harder than finding the $10 FW. Finding one at all can be hard. I only know of about 10 of them anywhere. Not to say there aren't more, but I and a few other people have searched the web and all over the place. The guy I got mine from sold three of them. I got the second one. let's just say only my embroidery machines were more expensive. I whined and sniveled for it so my son bought it for my birthday. The last one I saw has the colors reversed.

I didn't think it would be common. :hunf: My daughter wants a free arm machine but tends to snub her nose at the more common Elnas. She does like yours though. The Pfaffs tend to go higher than I can spend. Some of the Vikings look pretty decent and so far I haven't ran across any Kenmores with all the parts. When I get her one I want it to be at least reasonably complete and I want it to look decent. The right one will come along.

Metal cam is for stitch modifier

These are C cams for a Kenmore. They fit my Kenmore 95 and my Kenmore 1760. They come in a double or single cam. The second photo shows the cases they might come in, the Pattern Cams box or a small green plastic accessory box.

The last photo shows a metal cam. This came installed on my Kenmore 1760.

The metal cam with the number 20 stamped on it is the "permanent" cam for the 158 series that lets you use the stitch modifier. Without this cam, you cannot use the modified stitches. I have been trying to find one of these for months because it is missing from the otherwise pristine 158.17600 I bought from a thrift store. Anybody have any leads? Would be much appreciated.

will the 328k take all the flat black cams? I think it came with 8 -10 but not sure if all in that series or whatever it's called will work in the machine.

kenmore Model 90, cams missing # 2 and 5.

yesterdays find. I don't have this machine but someone must, somewhere, with no cams or manual.
