Thanks jljack! It seems a lot of these machines are priced kind of high. I prefer to buy one that is ready to go (as in I don't have to replace electrical and such before I can sew on it). I am watching several on ebay. The lowest priced one that I see in my area is priced at $150 (it is a black shortbed). Looks in good condition, believe it had been serviced. This machine was first posted on Craig's List back in January. I noticed they reposted yesterday - same price. Thinking of making an offer.

Would prefer not to pay over $100 if it could be managed. Also telling myself that if I am just patient and lurk on Craig's List - eventually one will come up at the right price! Especially since it is not a matter of need but want. :o

the electric on the clones is external - real easy to do. Hey I'll send you one for $100. LOL

Gotta spare 301 lying around? :o

Was looking at the pictures of the 319 you cleaned up. What a difference after you finished with her!!

my sister has a couple 301s for sale - I've learned a lot from her - she will hang in there when everybody else gives up.

She looks like she could be a Necchi clone. The smooth round face plates resembles the one on my Sewmor. But yours is a later vintage, just a guess. Sure hope you get a manual if you buy her.
