I would be interested in everyone's favorite Dremmel bit. What do you use and how do you use it? pic or name of the bit?

I use a Dremmel with an old sewing machine foot controller - I plug the Dremmel in where the sewing machine should go - I got the cheapest Dremmel but it sure goes give it a good slow to fast range of speed control and I'm very used to a sewing machine foot controller. When it dies I'm sure I'll be looking for another one just like it.

 I so love treading barefoot outdoors! Now that I no longer have my doggie I don't even have to worry about stepping in poo! Lol!

I use this to polish rust from non-painted surfaces. My second choice is the non-metal brush shaped like a normal grinding stone. It is less aggressive than the brass dish type. It may be called a flap wheel sander.

I tried that super glue and that was better. Not 100% fix but things weren't flying as badly as before. Thank you.

Hmmm,, that's a good idea about the normal brush. I never thought to try that. I use heavy cardboard and make a slit to shield the area behind the object I am after if it can't be removed from the machine.

I want to see what the brush you use looks like
I like those kind of glasses, too - something close to the cheek - bristles flies everywhere

Here are my favorites, some are thicker bristles and some feel softer than others. I just choose which one feels right for the job. I use a Barley Box style work area ( made from a cardboard box when in the house. It will capture most of the bits and pieces. Then I wipe up with a damp paper towel.

My very favorite is the nylon bristle brush though. It is in the Dremel in the pic as I used it yesterday to clean up my latest addition my 500A. Here are some pics.

That is the coolest idea! I didn't know these existed before - I ordered a pair. I had a very old pair that didn't magnify and I kept taking them off when I couldn't see. Thanks!

Oh Good deal Linda, you will love them!:)

LOL! I hand a lot of those things to DH so he can make a mess of the garage - the one place I don't walk barefoot ever! For me, the biggest problem is the dust bunnies. Invariably they come out of machines and jump in my hair - mostly my bangs - when I'm about to go answer the door. I cleaned a friend's sewing machine the other day and I doubled the bunny population in the shop... and it wasn't a small population to begin with!

Bunnies sure have a way of multiplying, don't they, even dust bunnies! LOL
